How the Haas Beisl became today’s restaurant

Since the restaurant, founded by Anto Karall in 1935, was taken over by his daughter Inge Haas in 1968, it has been called „Haas Beisl“. From 1990 it was managed in the third generation by Georg Haas and sold in 2012 to the chef Christian Tischler (previously at the Schwarzer Adler toque level) and to the restaurateur Gerald Schedl.

Traditionally, we continue to feel committed to Viennese cuisine and, in addition to some well-known classics, we also offer an extensive menu of offal. Our offer is supplemented by drinks with and without alcohol, whereby we also attach great importance to an exquisite wine list.

Monday to Saturday from 11.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m
Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m
